Harvest is almost upon us at Happy Valley Cellars, and we anticipate having one ton of Zinfandel and one ton of Petite Sirah available for sale (@$2,500/ton). This fruit is from our 1,000-vine home vineyard on Upper Happy Valley Road in Lafayette and has been meticulously maintained by Corona Vineyard Management. Our wines sell out quickly at the $40/bottle retail price, and our Zinfandel is available on the wine list of Postino Restaurant in Lafayette at $65/bottle. Q4 -- General Meeting Details

Our next General Meeting is scheduled for the last Sunday, of the first month, of the 4th Quarter. That means Sunday October 31, 2010.

The location of the meeting will be at the home of Bob and Gail Ward, who reside at 9 Via Hermosa, Orinda.

The time of this meeting has been moved up in time from our normal 3 PM gathering time due to the Halloween holiday. Members voted at the last meeting to move this Q4 meeting time to 2 PM, and we hope to finish no later than 5 PM. This will hopefully get everyone home in time to receive trick or treaters.

We want to thank Bob and Gail Ward for their hospitality. Please stay posted to the website for any updates and for posting of the Agenda for this meeting, as well as a Map of directions.
