With help from family and friends, we successfully harvested approx.12,400 lbs. of grapes from our vineyard in Moraga. 7000 Petite Sirah, 1000 Cab Franc, 600 Cab Sauvignon, 1200 Pinot Noir and 2600 Petite Verdot. With the exception of the Pinot Noir; we have all the rest of the wines in 10 French Oak barrels as well as 12 carboys for topping. The wines are coming along incredibly well.
We are aging all the wines separately, but intend to make the famous Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon / Cabernet Franc / Petite Verdot. The exact proportions will be established after repeated tastings later on this year or next. We hope many of our friends will join us in savoring this delightful vintage.
